Our first aid at work course offers comprehensive training, evaluation, and certification for individuals seeking to become first aiders. The learner will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently administer a wide variety of first aid techniques in the workplace with confidence – from treating minor wounds to saving the lives of colleagues in life-threatening situations. On the first day of the course, participants will cover topics such as the primary survey, secondary assessment, resuscitation, the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), as well as disorders related to respiration and circulation. Additionally, they will learn about wound care, bleeding control, seizure management, minor burns and scalds, and dealing with foreign objects.
The second day of the course will focus on injuries related to bones, joints, and muscles, as well as head and spinal injuries, and chest and abdominal injuries.
On the third day, participants will delve into specialized topics such as burn injuries, eye injuries, poisoning, anaphylaxis, and major illnesses.
To ensure comprehension and retention of the material covered, a written assessment will be conducted at the conclusion of the course.
